Well for scrap if they go that route they will earnestly earn dependent on price from $50/ton to $150/ton which is where our scrap dealers are at, lower prices for Whole machines higher prices for "Clean Scrap" 3'x2' and less than 100 pounds a piece.8-10 ton machine(my 7G is 12 ton), less than a grand Plus pay hauling expenses.

UPDATE:  talked to guy who's scrapping out the farm today, said the owners think its a goldmine...  3900+ HRs on the clock, rails worn pretty good, track plates pretty smooth, serial # comes back to 1963 HD6G, with standard dirt bucket, lanova style motor(344), has AC cast in block, 4 cyl.  I doubt anyone would want to put more than scrap value, 'cept the DA owner!Thumbs Down

17-19,000# machine. 'Clean' Scrap here hits $150 once in awhile, at high end 9 1/2 ton entire machine worth less than a grand. Rails are unavailable these days, parts continue to thin out so at best may be a parts donor and worth close to $1500.
