Hi, I bought a rider mower to day. I'm looking to get some help. Any one know what year this might be? Or any info on them. The one I got it's painted blue with a white plastic seat. So I think some one just got a lil happy with the blue paint and I don't know what's the deal with the seat.

Its not an Allis. Looks like an Arctic Cat Lawn Lion. The same company that makes the 4 wheelers used to offer a series of lawn and garden tractors. Those are somewhat collectible.

Thanks for the info. I never knew that or even heard of that model. I just bought it cuz I liked the look of it. Now in just trying to get it running. The guy before me did some work to it. But I can't keep it running unless I keep spraying starter fluid in it.

Probably needs the fuel system gone through. Most of the time on a "new to me" tractor I will have to remove the tank and clean it, install new fuel lines and a filter. Sometimes the carb has to be cleaned too.

If you remove the carb, take pictures of the linkages before you remove it. They can be tricky to get right on these little 7-8hp Briggs.

I think someone beat me to it. Looks like they worked on the carb before but the guy seem like he knew his stuff. But im doing my research to understand small engines a lil better. I mainly work on bigger motors but even then I need help. If I can't get it running on its own. I'll probably take it to small engine shop.

Cool!  As Chris mentioned, those little Arctic Cats are pretty desirable.
