I have a starter from HI Torque IMI out of California on mine works well just had to slide it in a little further than what they drilled the hole but other than that works just fine and cranks it over easily

You don't need one of them if you have me build yours for ya. Its not cheap, but one of my units can turn any of those hi compression pullin' engines over quite well. Some of the feller's here that pull have my Starter motors on their machines for a few years now...
