Thanks for the number and ideas. My neighbor told me exactly where to go here in OKC and that they probably would walk back and pull it/them off of the shelf.
Now my next challenge is getting the bottom to unscrew in order to pull out the piston to install a new seal on it.
Is there a tool somewhere to do this with? I made a pipe tool with 2 prongs on it to unscrew it, but it's pretty tight in there and wouldn't budge. As far as I know, these are the original packing leathers and never did know or see dad fix this leak.

Jim, there is no piston. The cylinders are displacement cylinders and only have a snap ring on the back of the rod. Take the gland off with the rod and remove the snap ring. Pull the rod out of the gland and remove and replace the chevron packings. If the bronze guide bushing is worn enough to let the rod slop around, it needs replaced too. Do not over tighten the packings. They need to weep a small amount of oil to lubricate the packings.
