Has anyone ever had one of these rebuilt? My remotes have started to bounce like air is in them and i was told the pump is getting weak. Seems to get worse when hot. Raising and lowering a disc conditioner.

Yes, it is very easy if you are detail oriented.

First question, is have you check pressures, both standby, and operating?  Does this pressure fluctuate back and forth from standby to operating, while in operating mode?  It may not be the pump, the pump may be being commanded via the sensing circuit to rapidly fluctuate pressures and flow, because of some problem elsewhere.

Do a flow test, and see if you really are getting air, (foamy oil) or just fluctuating pressures.

If you are really getting air, the first thing I would check/due, is put new o-rings on the back side of the swash plate trunnion bearing covers (about 1-1/2" inset round covers opposite sides of the pump)  If those get loose, as I have seen them due, they pull air in from there.  If you clean things up real well, you can do this easy repair right on the tractor

How is steering? Is it jerky at any time? Does three point come up smooth?
