Hello, I have a '68 B110 all original and trying to get to proper parts/diagrams,etc.
It has a model number that I just cannot get a hit on. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction? Thanks.
Model number as stamped on tag on upper console above shifter: 082857
I know its equivalent to 2010 and/or model # 990496 in simplicity land, but I would feel much better if I could actually find an exact match with #082857

That's your serial #.  There were four B-110 models.  2 early (manual lift and hydro lift) and 2 late (manual lift and hydro lift).  A quick picture of the tractor would tell us which model it is.  The main differences are in the dash and location of the ignition.

I have owned/restored a few Simplicitys, but this is first Allis. Are you saying that Allis didnt tag the body/frame of the older Allis with a model #(i.e. 2029927) like they did with Simplicity? I am confident that engine is correct and original and has build date of 9/9/68, so is it safe to say it is late b110? I dont do pics well, so the best i can do is explain dash. Has key recessed into front panel and acts like automotive (turn to engage starter). Has factory round hole to right of key switch with factory white plastic cover over it.
Thanks for quick response.

From my limited knowledge of these, if yours has the recessed key start, it probably is a late model (1969) vs. the push button start on my 1968.  The factory round hole with the plastic cover would have been for a headlight switch if your machine came with headlights.

Mac is correct....you have a late B-110.  They switched over sometime mid-1968.  The 1969 model became the B-210, and that ran through the end of the series in 1970.

If your tractor does not have power lift, or was outfitted with it later, then it was born a model 2029927.  That number will not appear on your ID tag beneath the key switch, whoever.  They didn't place them on these.
