I've recently had several instances where I could have used some forks on the loader of my D14, and would up having to use chains etc, etc to get the job done. I would like to see some examples of what others have built on the bucket when the forks are needed. Thanks for any comments, pics. |

Joe,,,take a look see at Northern Tool.
www.northerntool/clamp-on-forks They have clamp on; goes on bottom of bucket. A friend has them for his loader, they're not for real heavy loading but will handle rated load and usual front end capacity of tractor. Edited by JoeO(CMO) - 03 May 2017 at 6:12am |

I 'cheated', dropped the 6' wide bucket(4 pins), and built a 'carrier' from angle iron that the forklift forks slide onto. Ideally a 'quikattach'(skidsteer) type system would be best though.
One big concern about forks on a bucket is they're a long ways ahead of the pivot point and you can't see ! Also weight and control issues(real touchy). I didn't get the mounting holes for the tile cylinders right, have LOTS of back, very little forward tilt( curl ?). Since I don't use that D14 often it's not a harship to pop 4 pins to convert but..I ain't getting any younger the older I get, so I might make a Q-A system in the future. When (IF) it stops raining here I'll snap a few pics, send them to you for ideas.... Jay |

any of them you mount on the loader bucket, are hard on the bucket.

I have some clamp on. They are for light duty, made from tubing. If I had to do it again I would have something made to use the bucket mounts because as stated above, the bucket prevents you from seeing what your doing.
