I am looking for the floor panels for my 220. I have the center panel, but the edge pieces appear to be homemade. It is a long shot, but I am hoping that one of the pulling enthusiasts might have a set they removed for weight purposes. I would like to find a PTO guard as well. I could use some 3 point hitch parts, too. At this point I would be interested in one piece of the puzzle, or all of the above in one package.
I am getting sheet metal ready for paint, so I am getting to the point where I need to get serious about finding these parts.
Thanks for any help.
Mike

Outer floor boards were usualy removed to install aftermarket cabs, along with several other hard to find peices and there is a lot of demand for such.
Mart Heitman Salvage in Durand WI had the outer floor boards advertised in the O.A.N. About $100 per side as I remember. Other sheetmetal parts needed for ex cab tractors can be had from Luke Rooseboom who posts here as Luke R. and I highly reccomend him and his parts, both first rate. Northside Salvage in Red Bud ILL will have the three point parts

I have an original floor panel also, but it is the square pattern tread design rather than the diamond design. Only a few that i have seen have the square design, dont know why they did this. I dont make the after market ones, sorry. Thanks for the compliments Butch.

I took this photo at a local salvage yard. They had many of the parts I need, but they won't sell anything other than the complete 3 pt. assembly. I am wanting the handles, the round sleeves they mount in-which I think are permanently attached to the spherical trunnion that mounts in cast iron lift arm. The spring retainers would be appreciated as well. I sure wouldn't rule out complete lift links.
This is a picture of the rear or my tractor. I think you can see the damaged components.
Thank you for all of the responses. Notice how cobbled the drawbar is in the photo. It is an example of how beat up this poor old girl was. A previous owner must not have known that parts could actually be purchased, as a large percentage of the parts have been welded on. Notice the sway blocks with anhydrous knives welded onto them as spacers. This old girl has character, that is for sure. Edited by redline - 15 Jul 2010 at 2:47am |

I might have to give them a try. You just never know which parts they will still carry and which they will discontinue. I guess if we want them to continue supplying parts for these classic machines, we have to keep buying them. That is a sure way to send the message I guess.

In an attempt to clarify the 3 point parts, this is a picture I lifted from Agcopartsbooks dot com. I circled the parts I need most, but I would consider the assemblies also.

I think I have located a Right side panel with the "tread plate" pattern rather than the square stamping. Now I am needing to narrow my search a little and find a matching left panel. Edited by redline - 18 Jul 2010 at 11:02am |

This site is great! The people are what make it great, but the forum to get the people together is greatly appreciated. I have said it before, but it warrants repeating, Allis Chalmers enthusiasts are some of the nicest folks you could ever hope to meet.
With this simple request I have found help on the right floor plate and a PTO shield. I could still use some help on the left floor panel and some 3 point parts, but I am much, much closer than I was. Thanks, everyone!
