Does anyone know what the point gap should be on an early U...this has an American Bosch magneto...it has always started good in the past, now I get no spark. Cleaned the points, but going to change them & condenser to see if that helps. Weird looking rotor assy in this mag! It has an advance/retard lever and I don't remember which way is which,or how to set that in relation to timing...but have a few ideas. Also does anyone know if someone still offers a Kingston carb re-build kit. Thanks Fred in PA...if you read this give me a call (toll free lol) I'm still looking for a pair of rims for said tractor. 231 377 7007

The lever in the up position retards the mag. That is about all I can tell you. Dave.
