I am curious to know what the hitch height is for stock altered and up classes for garden tractor pulling. Our club was 13", which I thought was very common, and now have gone to a 16" height. I think it is too high, and people with power are going to have control issues without a ton of weight out front. We were 16" a while ago, and I seem to recall a lot of wild rides...lol! Thanks.

I am surprised OTTPAGT would have moved up to 16",,,, 13" is a more common height in GT pulling from what I have seen in rules across North America. . Todd has beat many 16" hitch tractors with his 13". Pick your height that works best for your setup and run with it would be my advice.
To date I see OTTPA & OTTPAGT still have there 2016 rules posted. Would be nice for tractor and truck builders/pullers if they posted their 2017 rules.

I agree with
Beirnesy run at whatever height works for you. At sixteen the amount of front weight would be enormous to keep control. But I guess they'll have to figure this out themselves, hopefully no one will get hurt in the process.

My son is old enough this year to try out the old 616H at a few bulls this year. I wonder how he will manage with the hydro lever between his legs and if the belt drive will slip.
