I really enjoyed the visit we had with Armand as well. Too bad we had to cut it short, since we had just landed and stopped by his place from the airport on the way to the in-laws. One of these trips we take to AZ, we will get to visit a little longer. A very nice display of his very nice builds!

Talking about little tractors that run, my wifies shoulder doctor. He has a micro engineer that makes instruments for his surgery operations and he showed us a video of a D John Deere that run. The size of the tractor was the size of a mans thumb. Now that is a piece of work.

Better glue 'em to the shelves if he did that!
I'm most impressed with his SP-100! That's a lot of time and detail, but then again, all of his models are!

I thinks I want to go see Armand also. Mostly to get out of this "pretty" country for the winter. Seeing them models definitely would be an added bonus, though. Darrel

Thanks for the comments!!! You guys up north must be hibernating in the house as I just updated my website with the 6070 project and noticed that it has been hit 30 to 50 times a day this past week!!!
Shameless, scroll down about half way and you will find the combine project!!! LOL Bill Long, you would make my day by coming down!!! Let me know when I need to pick you up at the airport!! As for hauling my models around, I think the first time will be when they are shipped to an auction house in the Midwest after I croak. |
