When we sold them it was SAE 20 NON DETERGENT oil. Worked well. However, I have heard very good reports of the trans-hyd fluid. I am now a convert.
Good Luck!

I guess I will need some good luck. Topped off the fluid lift arms won't move. With tractor running has a noise coming from pump area. It is either the pump or the ram cylinder or both. Trying to figure out what to check first.

Check the oil level again.
If the hose which runs through the rear end is broken, it will fill your transmission with hydraulic oil. |

If you end up having to replace the hose, buy the hose from AGCO. There is a stripe on the side of the hose. When installing the hose, DO NOT allow any twist to the stripe.
You tractor has a high pressure low volume hydraulic system. The everyday run of the mill hydraulic hoses are not strong enough to handle the pressure. While you have the rockshaft housing removed, it is a good time to replace the lift cylinder O-ring and the two back up rings. |
