Hey guys,

I know many of you have either made your own, or bought a tractor step. For the Allis B, do you have a couple ideas with pictures?

We would lke to build our own and mount on the tractor, before March.

Thanks!!!

I like that step. My '49 B has no holes down the side of the torque tube. What mounts there?

Mike Noonan on here makes and sells steps for a lot of the AC's. Does a top notch job. I got one of his for my D15.

I think those were to mount a later model cultivator. The CA's used the same torque tube.

Don't know about the B but took Hubert's advice on the d 15.  The step looks like it was made on a production line and fits in like a glove.

When you have the plow drawbar mounted , right there's your step and then you don't need an OldFartStep. Cultivators work just as well, even the mid mount sickle mount mower makes a great step.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

You know, at our Plow Day in May, David Dickmyer brough up his 41 C for me to plow with. If it did not have the plow drawbar I really don't know if I could have mounted it. Even when I was much younger with the B and C I always appreciated an implement on the tractor for that first step.
Ladies and gentlemen we are getting older.  They did not think of older people mounting their tractors when we grew up.
Good Luck!
