Cleaning out the shed, looking to give good homes to several pieces of equipment/spare parts/tractors.
The pieces mentioned are in varying levels of condition, but we would like to expose these to the Allis community before going to either ebay or the junkyard. For WD: Allcrop 66 combine- sat 35 yrs in shed, but ran fine when parked. Allcrop grain drill 4 bottom 14"(I think) plow cultivator 4 row corn planter w/ several extra chemical bins/seed bins/lots of plates several WDs/engines/frames/spare parts daily use WD narrow front, converted for 12v, makes some rear-end noise but is in use as we speak Power-take-off pulleys for WD- to power aux. flat-belt driven equip. WD trip bucket loader w/ freshley replaced packing- fully functional and currently in use "Parts" cultivator Parts" Planter 14' traction-control wheel disc- decent condition but outdoor stored Allis Model "G" This tractor was nicely re-done and painted up when we bought it. Came with cultivator, plow, and large single-shovel pointed blade(possible for potatos?). This tractor was in use in the garden this spring and one day while cultivating something snapped(sheared?) and I lost forward motion. no power to the wheels in any gear. Now I am debating tearing it apart to diagnose/fix, or selling as is. A good running motor, good rubber, but the obvious catastrophic condition as described above. All these items are to be sold eventually, but there is no rush and we would rather see them go to people who will get good use/give good home than be hasty and let the old things slip through the cracks. Any suggestions on where to list this equip and how to re-home it are welcome. If there is interest in a particular item, pictures can be provided, give me a shout. Equipment is located near Freeport, in NW Illinois. Looking forward to the Jamboree here the first weekend of Aug. Thanks |

On the G most likely one of the axels broke inside the differential. The hardest part in fixing it will be getting the break drum off. I drilled the axel until collapsed inside the drum.

When mine broke it seemed to be shattered not twisted. I think they spring and over time become work hardened and break. It seems to be the weakest part of the G.
