I was able to get the drag chain (from cylinder to sieves) freed up tonight.  I thought that I was going to have to take the throat off of it to fix it, but there was a cleanout plate under the throat that I noticed and I took it off and had easy access to the chain.  After a little work it came loose.  I also was able to free up the beater in front of the cylinder and now it spins very easy.
Next on the fix list is:
#1 Return clean grain elevator to factory position (it has the kit added to make it longer for extensions - I was told extensions were very hard on the axles on these so I took them off.  If I were to add just one 1x8 extension around the bin would I have any problems?

#2 New hose for variable speed.  What pressure does this hose run?  Could I just use 1/2-5/8 copper tubing for this?

#3 Put the 330 head on and install the gathering snouts.

#4 Need to adjust the chains and oil them up real good.

#5 Need to install the set of rice tires I picked up (front and back) for $100.  The old tires and rims are going on my WD45

#6 fix the lights and electrical system.

#7 clean and repair fuel tank

After looking at the list I know feel overwhelmed LOL!!  Oh well some of it will go fast while the rest will take a little while.
Adam

That is a straight old machine you have. Most are all beat up. I have a small project that will get started after the 4th. It is an N7 that still has the engine. The 516 is stuck from sitting and I am told on another site that it will fit in a D21 on up. I am looking to put it in a 7080, IF, IF, it will run again. That's a Big IF. Your machine looks like it would be field ready alot sooner then my N7 ever could.

Unit 3 I think someone streched the truth when they claimed the 516 will "fit" a D21 & up.
