Not sure if anyone would want this machine  but if you reside anywhere around CT I would like to see my dad's allis built T16 go to someone that might like it rather than see it scrapped. Motor needs to be re ringed and the deck needs to be welded up in the front. Would need a seat and the the carb prob cleaned. My dad parked it when it lost compression about 15 years ago and it has sat in his garage since. I don't have time for projects or I would take it back with me. He is in CT and I live in TN. PM me if you are interested. TY

Man...if only the timing was better!  I've been trying to collect the Allis built Homelites, and have one of the baby ones (T-8) coming home this week.  I am travelling to CT to drop off a 7790 and pickup another machine this coming spring.  If it's still hanging out by then, I'll look you up!

Just a bump to put it back out there. I just returned from where the tractor is. If anyone has any questions please let me know. If it sits there it will probably go for scrap. When it was parked the deck needed to be welded up in the front and the motor needed to be re-ringed. It was never rebuilt. Transmission, electric deck, all worked flawlessly,  even the lights worked perfectly. Would need the motor work, seat and maybe some fresh paint and it would be ready to cut.

If it comes to it, and it has to go the way of the scrap yard, I would love the chance to buy the lights for one of the Homelites I have here. Wish I could help move the whole rig!

If shipping it to someone isn't feasible you could always list it on Craigslist and I'm sure you could get someone to give you a little something for it. Advertising here will not reach the local market.
