OK, just curious, has anyone 'lowered' a D-14 before? If so is it as 'easy' as rotating/swapping the rear axle pieces and doing the same up front?
Thinking of a wnter project as I really don't need 4 D-14s here... Jay |

I have never seen one... I suppose the finals bolt on with 4 -6 bolts just like the B and CA ?? Should work OK.. How much drop do you get when you rotate ( center line of bull shaft to axle shaft) ? You might have to make a new front axle, or cut off the ends and reweld to the original cross arm.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Looks lik eI could get 8" drop on the front just by swapping left for right and turning hte stub axles upside down ! Flipping the rears I'd get about 10" drop.
The current plan is to get tractor running 100% ,then see about the 'lowering'. Everything is heavy..sigh, back ain't up to it quite yet. It was h-e- double- toothpick just swapping 4 tires past 2 days..... the mind is strong, the back not so much..... Jay |

Flipping the rears I think would give you closer to 20" of drop, not just 10" because changing from 10" down, to 10" up, drops the housing 20" I don't think there is that much clearance under the rear housing without the hitch parts. Maybe, but it would be close.
