I have an 8070 Tractor with Power Director it has a hydraulic whine to it, when you use loader it's terrible. Loader is hooked in back using remotes. A little history, I rebuilt the power director and torque limiter and cleaned the 30 years of rust out of floor of tractor. Also replaced gasket between rear end and transmission now i have a whine. 1500 rpms sounds good full throttle horrible and at idle, if you hit diff lock while using loader it gets even worse???

I didn't mess with anything from high pressure hydraulic side but seems like pump is stuck in pump position. Any body else have this issue before???

Sounds like a classic example of the hydraulic pumps high pressure hose going back to the 3point valve is touching the cab or diff lock pedal linkage.

Make sure the main suction line on he pump is tight and not sucking air. Takes a 2" wrench I beleive.

I posted the same question 4-5 years ago with my 8050. Turned out to be a hydraulic line touching the bottom of the cab. Rerouted the line and it quit. Make sure no hydraulic lines touch the cab.
