Did all ca's have a constant-mesh transmission or were the early one's a sliding gear, like the wd? Ron

Thanks. The parts book shows the gears were changed in early 1952, I was just curious what the change was for?

 Pay close attention to your  parts book !  Not all CA  tranny parts  enterchange, i know  there is a serial number break .   Tony

tony is correct, looks like serial #13291 is the break, 1952 model yr. Anyone have further insight on this change?
