Not sure who this was but said sled malfunctioned and tractor went over on it's side at a good amount of speed.

Good for the cage years ago guys got hurt or killed. I think it was years ago when someone got busted up pretty bad at Tomah that cages were required after that.

That was Randy Rose from Minnesota that rolled his IH at Tomah....I don't think that he ever pulled again...

I know of a puller from Missouri,a puller from Kansas,and a puller from Iowa that would have lived if there had been cages in the earlier days...The cages have saved several lives...

I was just doing a little searching last night and watched a youtube video and they said cages became mandatory when Walshes irish challenger 3 turbine mod went out the end of the track because the weight box malfunctioned, they had a cage on that tractor before it was required and said that it prevented serious injury.
