Original, most likely would be points, but owner could have put any style on it.   MACK

Yup, a lot can be changed over 40 some years.  2 Of mine were pointed and 2 were round, but I am changing that.

I am changing to the round one.  Is one better than the other?  I don't know, but most of them were leaking.  I just went to my local hydraulic shop and said "give me 4 couplings", they all had the ball.  I don't think they use the points anymore.

Mills Fleet Farm sells both the ball and points. Points give higher flow but I've seen some here say there wear faster.
