Do any of you use hytrans in your transmission instead of 80w. It seems like it is suitable for about everything anymore. Thanks, Terry

RR - Yes you can use hytran in the trans, hydraulic and diff.  I would still stay with the 80EP in the finals. - AL

Yes hytrans oil is ok for the trans and rear end, But the old seals might leak a little.
I just use 80EP in mine.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

AC service manager told me they put hytran in everything even old stuff. The hytran won't leak anymore than the gear oil because it doesn't foam or build pressure. I it is also supposed to be better for the seals.
