Trying to come up with ideas for our club and thought about a percentage class. We have a simple weight transfer sled that does not have the 1/4" reading on the weight box, but it does have electronic distance reading.
How could I implement a percentage class with this?

You will loose spectators . The crowd never seems to understand why a tractor that pulled less distance still can win . One of our local clubs currently does this and every time I hear spectators complaining .
Just my opinion to express

it would be 1 class, like a King of Hill or something.
I was trying to see how a group of tractors could compete that are not typically in the same class. Maybe give everyone more chances to pull

how about a run what ya brung class, everyone pulls against each other to see who gets farther, obviously you would need weight classes such as 3500-6500 or something like that to group more tractors together than a standard 3500 pound class, i get that you are trying to do something to add flavor, but generally out of the box ideas fail, for numerous reasons but better to try it and fail than to never try

I understood also but from experience it gets to be a fist shaker. We had a guy show up with a big stroker Ih and pulled 100% more than anyone else. So where was that fair. Where does a person set limits ? 1 really like jackpot pulls to spice things up. Up here we are loosing spectators which makes antique pulling really boring besides loosing contracts for pulls . Well Charlie175 I have only one thing to say
Merry Christmas !
