we have and 8050 and 8070 we are looking to sell but we need help on serial numbers to get the year. First the 8050. It seems to be the most confusing. On the rear by the PTO it has the serial number 1002. Indicating it was the second one made. The question is we don't know the history of this tractor at all. The cab serial number is 8296 (model 1504000). The cab don't seem to correspond with the tractor with console throttle and no whole in the side dash plate to hint that it was latter converted to a side console throttle. The third thing is the motor serial number is 33432. I guess what im really askin is there anyway to find if these numbers match to maybe figure out a little of the history on this thing. Maybe it was an experimental we don't know and just really curious. Now the 8070 can we get the year using the cab and motor serial numbers we converted it over to have the dual pto and don't have the plate that has the serial number on it.

Accordng to the serial # the 8050 is a 1982 and I suppose it could be the second one built. I don't know if tractors with the updated throttle had a different dash panel to cover the hole?
On the 8050, what is the condition, the hours, tire size, is it a power director or power shift, does it have FWA and what are you wanting for it?
Thanks

8050 FWA Power shift. tires 18.4 38's near new less than 500 hrs on them 3 remotes Hrs bought it had 7000 hrs engin history was unknown noticed after year tac wasn't workin 2,000 hrs on new tac. were sure the tac was working when we got it cause didn't notice it on first oil change but can't be absolutly certain and want to be completely honest on it.I currently have the pan off due to finding oil in the water and water in the oil. We believe we have it narrowed down to being the oil cooler but are keeping it pressurized for few days to make sure everything else is good. Will pull bearings to check. Does appear to be overhauled sometime. Injector pump fresh rebuild less than 1 hour on it (noticed the water in the oil imediatly after replacing the pump)
Clean straight tractor. Paint excellent.
Askin 20,000 may be on the highside but was my first tractor i ever bought and it has treated me real well. And it makes such a handy tractor to have around for small jobs as mowing waterways and hay and a back up planter tractor.
