Was thinking the other day traveling down the road (have nothing else to do) what everyones ancestory is and what part of the country they went to. Most of my great grand parents came over from Holland. My dads fathers family setteled in Portage, MI. My dads mothers parents settled in Geneseo, IL  Grandma came to NY when she was a child and grandpa when he was early 20's.
Moms parents where also Dutch and settled in the Ny area.
There is alot of Dutch culture here in the local area as there was alot of truck farms around here.

Finewood was the name. They moved to NY back in the early 1900-1915 time?

I grew up in central Wisconsin, where most everyone was of German and Polish descent. Now, I live in Western Wisconsin, where a lot of people are from Norweign and German ancestors.
