I appreciate you doing this but most people aren't going to know what in the world you mean by an orange finger.
I don't know what would be good:
"Long live the the family farm...NOT"
or
1985 - Duetz Allis formed from Allis Chalmers - drops orange keeps name.
1990 - AGCO Allis formed from Deutz Allis - gets orange back.
2001 - Allis Gleaner Corporation drops Allis from it's name.
2008 - Allis Gleaner Corporation drops Allis from it's moniker and becomes "Your AG Company"
2009 - AGCO makes plans to drop orange from line.
2010 - I DROP AGCO!!

Maybe this makes more sense. I thought of an IG inspired change too.
1985 - Deutz Allis formed from Allis Chalmers.
