Looking to sell my Allis 916H garden tractor. It
runs great. It comes with a mowing deck in really good shape. It also comes with
another complete 916H tractor I bought to use as a parts tractor. Everything
works as it should on the mower and it mows great. The paint looks good too, new
battery and belts this past week. Any ideas what I should ask for the package? Thanks, Scott

What size deck? Hydraulic lift? How many hrs on the Kohler? Paint condition? Things we need to know.

Sorry, it has a 44 inch deck, it has the hydraulic lift. The paint is better than most i've seen, probably a 6-ish out of 10. I'm not sure on the hours, but they both have the 16hp kohler factory motors. The "parts" tractor has a manual lift. It also has the original Allis seat, but it needs re-upholstered. I call it a parts tractor because I couldn't get the rear end to spin freely. The engine spins free, but I haven't ran it. I'll try to upload some pics of both tractors. The first pic is the parts tractor.
Thanks, Scott |

no one makes tractors like this anymore they where great (all around) tractors that would stand up to a lot of abuse im thinking maybe like 900 to 1200 but thats just me.

i'm with Fred on this one. I can tell that if someone who knows the in's/out's of that 16HP Kohler, it can be built to really perform. I have a friend who builds them for pullers, and they produce some power, for regular work around the yard, you run about 1/2 trottle. I have a 416H, which eventually I'm having him rebuild for me, gusty engine for sure.

I doubt it has a 44" mower. It would either be a 48" or a 42." With the parts tractor ($150-200), the right person should be willing to go $900-$1000------------assuming the good tractor runs well.
