Working on a 200 yet , got the powerdirector rebuilt and going , redone brakes , now the hyd. pto wont turn ; i want to test the pressure to it and the book says the test port is by the hyd. valve , but there is a hole but no threads in it ; on the back of the hyd. valve there are 2 quarter inch pipe threads with plugs in there , im thinking the top one is to test the hyd. pressures ?? Anyone know for sure ? Anyone have any experiences with these things ?? If the pressures are correct and nothing , i assume the clutches prolly need replaced ?? When i split the tractor the sliding coupler was on the front shaft , how does it get to the back to couple to the rear shaft to get it to spin ?? Any help is appriciated !!

If it's an older 200, there is a short shifter lever behind the battery box in the exact same location as a D15-17-19........shift it into gear while someone turns the PTO at the rear of the tractor. If there is no shifter lever behind the battery box, you must remove the PD clutch valve and cover and reach inside with a prybar and slide the coupler rearward until it "latches" into place......there is a spring lock-wire inside the coupler.
