Around the farm, pics

   snapped a couple pics with my phone while around the farm the last couple days.

Gramps on the WD, hooked to the mixer. Corn was stuck, got that back going again. 

Split wood today with gramps D-17 series IV. The splitter works good, but needs a bigger cylinder on it for more pressure. Dad made the splitter from some parts he had laying around from his dad, so thats kinda cool.

Did more on the back side of the shack

Got into some wet poplar, and wow, that was the worst splittin stuff we ever saw. I mean TOUGH, you would think it was elm or something. Got to the cherry, that was alot better.

In the background is the sugar shack. We make maple syrup in the spring, and its that time right now. 

Hope everyone else is doing good, spring is almost here!
