Good Morning,
I looked at a 160 AC. The tractor seems to be in good shape, no major leaks, seems to run well, sheet metal and paint are faded and some dents, tires are probably 50 % all the way around. The owner wants me to make him an offer. Whats a good ball park figure for this tractor, also is there any common problems with these tractors? Thanks Rodd |

Parts for these tractors are hard to find. Made by Renault in France. A 170 or 175 are "True Allis" and many parts are readily available. Personally I would go for one of those.

I have a one-sixty and like it a lot. However, as DSeries mentions, it was made by Renault in France and parts are hard to come by and expensive when you can locate them. The three cylinder Perkins diesel engine starts well in the cold weather. A nice slick little tractor to use, but make sure it doesn't pop out of any gears and that the hydraulics are working properly. Mine is in nice condition and I picked it up several years ago for $3,500, so you can take that into consideration.

Thanks for your insight about the 160 tractor,
I didnt realize that this model was made by someone other than Allis. As I said, the tractor seems to be in above average shape, buts parts etc are a concern. Thanks Again Rodd |
