I purchased an Allis 912 Hydro garden tractor this summer (no manual).  I would like to change the hydraulic oil and filter.  The filter is on the underside, not the left side.  What oil did Allis Chalmers recommend for this transmission?  Who would have the best filter for it?  I was hoping some of you guys may have worked on or operated one of these and could help me out.  Thanks!

Hytrans hydraulic oil or equivalent is OK. ATF is also used.
 
Use only an OEM filter from Simplicity or a Wix filter. The fram filters are substandard for the needed flow of these trannies.
