The 3 point hydraulic lift on my WD45 lift and lower, but lack any intermediate positional control.  In other words, they tend to go nearly all the way up and all the way down with no "middle ground", so to speak.

Can anyone advise on what needs to be done & how involved (expensive) is it?

Thanks, Boyd

you need to set your Hydraulic pump traction booster controls to the "Hold" position then it will work better.
Unless your are the lead horse the scenery never changes!!

What Matt said. The hydraulic system has basically 2 different settings. The old Ford tractors had a lever to switch from draft control to hold position but on the WD-CA you have to turn some screws and adjust things according to the manual.
