It was a picture perfect day here in southern Illinois!! About 80 degrees with a nice breeze blowing. Spent the day getting the D17 more ready for paint while listening to some great tunes and having afew cold ones!! Days like this are simple pleasures that my buddies at work tomorrow won't understand. Ryan

Got some time in on the B Friday. Not the kinf of progress I was hoping for, but progress all the same. Got the tin off the front(grill and radiator cover was rustier on the bottom than I had hoped. Time to get out the mig and some body filler.) Engine is still stuck tight, in spite of a couple of months of Acetone/ATF and even Ammonia soaking. I pulled the head, and cylinders #2 and 3 have some rust on the wall right above the pistons, so I know what lies below. Oh well, time for some new sleeves and pistons. At least it's progress, and time(and sweat! LOL!) well spent.
I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

Ditto Ryan.

Sure must have been in the air. Was a great day here in Middle TN. And yes, the beers seemed to go down really good this afternoon!
