hey there fellas,
I found a 1985 8010 FWA for sale that i plan on going to look at this weekend.  I was hoping some of you could give me some guidence on what to look for and what the common things are that go wrong with these tractors.

I would make sure you check the front end over pretty good.  Most of those parts are pretty expensive to replace.  I'm not sure what it's called but it's where the steering cylinder connects to the hub.  If it wasn't greased daily it will be worn.  Also check the FWA driveshaft for wear.  Besides checking the gears, AC, fluid levels, etc, that would be my suggestion.  We've had ours for 8 years and really like it so far.
