My series 1 D17 seems to have a linkage problem on the hydraulics. When you start the tractor the lift arms raise no matter where the control lever is set and the arms won't drop after the tractor is shut down even in the lower position. They will drop over night but go up again as soon as the tractor is restarted.
Is there a pin or something inside the torque housing that could have fallen out? The external linkage works fine. I haven't had a chance to look at a manual yet.

Traction Booster lever must be clear down AND the link rod under the belly that connects the hyd pump lever to the drawbar load spring has to be there and adjusted properly.

TB lever is down, Main hyd lever is down but pump still is running. The linkage underneath appears unchanged. The hydraulics had been working fine, but when the tractor was started one morning a couple days ago the 3pt came up and wouldn't come down. Going to get the book out today and tear into it.
