Just had another gully washer here in my part of southern IL--2 inches again.   Some areas had wind, hail and even some funnel clouds spotted.  Still alot of corn to be planted in this area.  Been a real mess of a spring here since the first week of April, but thankful we have not been in the path of any major destruction through all of the stormy weather.  I am planning on planting corn until the middle of June (at least) here.

We lucked out tornado wise, I saw one at while takeing shelter.  It spraked some power lines and then picked up,  and I think there were others spotted in S.E. Iowa and West Central  Illinois , with little damage.  But we got 3+ inches of rain in a short time , roads and terraces overtopped flash flooding in a lot of places.  But our hearts go out to other storm victoms.
