Just wondering how the WC does in stock classes. How do they balance pulling off stock drawbar, what wt classes do they do best in, etc. Thanks, Jm

The lighter you can get it the better.

Gotta agree, the lighter you can get it the better. A WC will be hard since there are not many "bolt on" parts that you don't need for pulling. Usually the first things to go are PTO's and hydraulic units, of which a WC doesn't have.

The "second generation" B's with the CE engine do exceptionally well in the 2500 and 3000 class as a stock tractor. Of course if you have a garden tractor pull with some really heavy classes, and you could get the B slim enough, you could walk away with the sled to the next town.

Stock WCs work great at 3500 to 4000 pound classes. We've had great suuccess pulling our '37 at these weights. Bolt on a ring hitch, air down to about 10Lbs, get some weight out front, and kick butt! Good Luck, Kip
