Hour Meter on Engine 8000 Series

   My new to me 8030 has an hour meter on the left side of the engine.  I have never seen this on a 8000 series before.  It does not agree with the tachometer hour meter.  Could this be an engine from a power plant or industrial use of some sort installed in the tractor?
