I found on the D17 i just got that the Manifold has rusted holes and most seals are gone. When looking for a new minifold I have seen some that say D17/WD/WD-45 and some say D17 Series IV .. does the Series IV take a special one? She still runs strong but loud as heck!

The series IV has a threaded neck that a pipe adapter screws in to accept the proper muffler. On the WD/WD45/D17 manifold the adapter pipe is a slip fit held in place by a set screw or one of those thingamagig clamps.
