A year or so ago I saw someone who had a problem with the lift arms on a 7000 tractor would not go down, or if they did it was very slow. It seems the answer was some kind of flow problem, with the way the flow was set?. The problem is I cannot remember how to fix it, and now my 7000 is having the same problem. If someone knows, please leave a detailed answer on how to fix it, and how to adjust whatever it is I need to adjust. I AM NOT A MECHANIC, so you will not offend me if you answer so a 5th grader would be able to understand.

I think your thinking of my post. It was our maroon belly 7000 and going down was no problem, lifting was my problem and it finally got to where it almost didn't work anymore till last week I put new bushings in the cab mounts cause the original ones were gone and it raised the cab back to where it should be and fixed my problem.

If this is a brown belly 7000, you can loosen the front bolt that holds the hyd lever console to the side of the cab and lift up on the console until all the levers line up while in the hold (middle) position. Retighten the bolt and then try your 3 pt lift. The cab mounts have probably flattened out and still need to be replaced but this will temporarily repair the problem If it's a black belly, the 3pt lever rod length can be changed as the console doesn't move.
