i been looking at 8030's both tractors lose there prime, why, ?  is this a common problem? they been sitting on a dealers lot. next one 8030 has a problem once you get it primed, it will only run from 1000 to 1300 rpms, then it will flutter out and die if you accelerate. they think its injection pump. what do you think? how much for injection pump rebuild? thanks for replies.

I have a 7040 that did the same thing. I replaced all the O-rings and still no change. Looking further in depth I had 2 lines rubbing, one had a hole so small that fuel wouldnt leak but would suck enough air. It took 2 people to start it, one to crank and one to push the primer and spray ether.
