 I'm going to refurbish my sc blade. What I need to know is the original way they were painted when they came from factory. It's got one extention on it too. Don't know if that makes any difference or not. Going to put the 45 in County Fair this year with the blade instead of 3 bottom.   Thanks, Fred

They were painted Orange but I believe they had a stencil or decal. Paint it the same color as your tractor. Maybe somebody has a picture of the original lettering and will post it.

I would also be interested in seeing nicely restored AC Snap coupler Blade. Working on one also.

I  have seen several different style of decals on them as they were made for several years and the decals changed.  the older ones look to have the same decal as the 45s originally had and it was on the right rear of the blade looking at it about 25% of the way down and the S was approx 12 inches from end of the blade

i also have an ac blade that needs some painting. i have seen a fully painted blade before and i cant seem to remember if there was decals on it or not.
 
 
 
wd with a freeman model 90 trip loader, wd45, 38 unstylled wc, b 10 garden tractor and 2-14 ac trip plow. grandpa has a 56 wd45. wd. allis chalmers snap coupler blade and 3 bottom snap coupler plow
