I would have to say my restored 77M PTO driven rake. I've only seen 2 others. This one I bought from Dean Berning, and he has one more. Mike Grulke has one too, and the serial numbers of ours are only 2 digits apart. This pic is with my '57 45 diesel.
![]() My other is a series 40 6' disc....looks strangley familiar to the pic on page 105 of Wendels AC book with the smooth front and cut-away rear disc blades....Hmmmm?

Eldon,
What would be the advantage of a SC hookup over a drawbar with the drill?

I can load the tractor and drill easily onto my trailer, I can turn sharp at the end of the field, and it is easier to back into corners. I also don't have to mess with the drive chain from the tractor wheel like the regular sc drill has....and can also have my rear wheel width set wherever I want.

My neighbor has a snap coupler sub soiler/dither like in the picture
of Eldon's. I have one almost like it, mine has a 3 point hitch on it. My dad bought ours at a farm sale about 45 years ago. |

Chad, yours looks a little nicer than mine, nothing beats a PTO hay rake though, I work my 77M every year behind one of my 45 diesels.

Don, I've got a #109 SC disc. I'll have to get a picture posted sometime. I've also got a #73 SC plow with tailwheel. And, this #3 Subsoiler. I'd really like to have a drill like Eldon's.uploads/904/subsoiler_in_shop.JPGuploads/904/right_side_subsoiler.JPG

I just came across a snap coupler two bottom rollover plow. It's sitting in the woods with three feet of snow on it, but I have been told that it is for sale. Would go good on my D-14 when I restore it.

This was a very interesting post, I like it. I also would like one of everything snap coupler hitched. Eldons all crop drill is very cool, would like to find one like it, but I guess as of right now, my most wanted snap coupler implement would be a post hole digger, cause it's something that I could get justify having. Kind of like killing 2 birds with one stone; another toy, plus something I need all in one package. Darrel
