Hi

I am a new member on the unoffical Allis- Chalmers fourm and think that it is a great site in deed! I am currently 23 yrs old and run a lawn maintence business and work for a local conservation authority on the side. I have always loved the Allis-Chalmers brand, the local Agco/Gleaner dealer used to be down the street from me before they built there new location several yrs back. I am located in Huron County, Ontario Canada and have been collecting Agco related toys for several yrs now, primarly GLEANER combine toys in all different scales... I do collect other brands of toys as well but my strongest focus is on AC, Gleaner and Deere( my cousin runs Deere, and I grew up around Deere on his farm, and Allis equipment because of the local dealer.

I currently own a 1977 Allis- Chalmers 720 Garden tractor with 60" deck, 3 point hitch and rear PTO. I brought it home to Canada 2 yrs( this August) from Indiania. I have always loved the style and looks of the AC 616- AC720 Garden tractors, and was thrilled at the chance to own one, some day I would like to find an AC620 and AC 616 to go with my AC 720.

Anyway I really enjoy this site, and really nice to see other Orange and probably Gleaner "Silver" fans out there.

Thanks! What year is your Allis 620? Do you have any attachments for it? I would like to find the Sikkle mower attachment for my AC 720, but they are pretty hard to come by.

Jason:  Great to have another A-C buddy on the forum.  You'll learn a lot from this awesome group of people.  Anyway, I joined the A-C club in Canada a few years back.  Are you a member?  Don't get to Canada often to hang with any of them though.  Enjoy the site and all the new friends you'll meet.  Going orange is going great!

Hi

I have heard about the AC club in Canada, I have not joined it yet but plan to sometime this year. I am hoping to get the AC 720 to a couple of shows this year if all goes well. I want to get to the GOTO in MN some year but don't think I will get there this year.

Hi Jason, You must live in Hensall. I'm northeast of Stratford. I have a 616 that I brought home from PA a year ago and a bunch of A-C big tractors and toys including 5 Gleaner combines. Check www.allischalmers.ca for the A-C club of Ontario website. There is info on joining our club. I've just retired from writing the club nesletter for more than 12 years. Our major show this year is the Bruce County Heritage show Aug 19-21 just south of Paisley. Looking forward to meeting you. I see a bit of Hensall delivering my beans to HDC and building the 10 big concrete silos at the IP soybean bean plant.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Hi Calvin,

I am from Hensall, been living there all my life. I take it you know Wayne and Brad Mcbride from Kippen, other big AC guys?. I enjoyed seeing pictures of your AC D21 in a past issue of "Hertiage Iron", that's a great magazine as well. I am really hoping to get up to Paisley in August with my Allis 720 and maybe my toy Gleaner collection but I will have to play it by ear. I hope its a good turn out of AC equipment up there in August. I missed out on displaying at the GOTO in Milton Ont in 09, as I bought my AC 720  2 weeks after that show.
