Hello all,

I am looking at an AC 200 and am confused about what the real horse power is. I see that some are listed at 93hp and some are listed at 106 hp. Is there a model with a turbo and one without, hence the different ratings ?

Thanks

The model 200 was never tested and was sold on the 190XTs rating of 93. Many of them are producing more than that. Ours has 110. All 200s had a turbo.

There were some minor differences in the factory ratings depending on whether the pto is 540 or two speed. Such differences would be only slight. You are likely seeing one that was merely a factory rating and others are actual dynomometer test readings. Any 200 worth it's salt will dyno at 100 hp minimum.  Bill at S>L>I

Never tested. Allis used the XT data but the engine improvements gives all 200's higher hp. At least that's what I read in Norm Swinford's book. At the Allis shop I used to work in the older mechanics told me they never dynoed a new 200 that didn't put out at least 110 hp.
