	looks like 653 on the decal, replaces the HD4, with improvements. I wish it were closer, I'm in the market for one to clean up on the farm.

	Do they have wet or dry steering clutches and brakes? How much do they weigh?

	653 was upgrade of the H4 and like the 655, still a industrial machine . As far as I know aboutthe same as the HD4 , does have winch and 6 way blade. Price isnt bad but would wonder as machine is older unit.

	Had a 500 IH years back. Very handy little machine to operate but the dry clutches and brakes would rust when you didn't use it and it seemed like they always needed some kind of adjustment. I got real good at pulling the brake drum and clutch out. Do these give the same type of trouble and can you pull the brake out from under the seat?

	Not to bad to work on but no reason for the brakes or clutch to rust. Have a large cleanout hole in bottom of case 2" pipe plug. In 10 years had no clutch problems with the HD4 I had . Only problem is learning how to slide the drive axel into ring gear shaft without loosing it. Getting the clip to release , but with books it is easy .

	That is a great price if it is what he says it is. I paid more than that for my HD-4 10 years ago and the winch didn't work when I bought it. The HD-4 and 653 are basically the same machine save for a few more HP on the 653 and an improved undercarriage.....more links, pads, and the center guide roller is flipped around facing the inside, toward the machine. Parts are still available through MinnPar dealers or can be had on their site. Some stuff can be bought at Agco dealers too.....mostly just the engine components as it has the 200cid engine. Just the winch, if it works and needs no work, should be worth 1500 to 2000 alone. 60hp is more than enough power for a 6 ton machine and I have pushed and pulled a lot of stuff that I shouldn't have. Steering clutches are dry type and pretty straight forward. Having the radiator sit right in front of the operator is kinda strange but it is nice having it out of the way of debris. If you are close and have the money and the need for a small dozer you had better snatch it up. He is right on with his price. JJuday
