but my son did. It's pretty stout, and reminds me a little bit of the grill guards on the 9N and 8N Fords.

Pretty simple mount, too. an "L" bracket on each side bolted to the triangular axle pivot bracket that's bolted to the front of the engine.

nice job on the guard . Is that a straight axle on that B? Also looks like a different style distributer on it.

The guard is nice looking. He's a good craftsman.
Is the tubing for the front axle  2x3 or?
I have been looking for an IB front axle with no luck.  I think I did find some hen's teeth though, but have misplaced them for now and didn't have a chance to confirm.

It's a staight axle on a project tractor. I made a straight axle out of 2"x3" square tubing, lowered the final drives, mover the steering similar to the mount on my IB, and have spoke wheels all around. It's a work in progress, but without much progress!

I've posted this before, so sorry to you that have seen these before.

The complete axle with the ends cut off an arched B axle, and ground "flat" on the two sides to fit into the saddle cut on the end of the square tube.

The bushing before welding into the axle.
