Can anybody tell me what the line coming from the bottom of the oil pan is for and can you eliminate it when putting this motor into a WD? I did a seach and can't seem to find anything. My Father inlaw is thinking of doing this swap but he want's to know what that line is for. I'm sure someone on here knows, you guys know just about everything.

Thanks,
Pete

engine oil drain line on the combine as the engine sits low.  Just replace it with a drain plug.  I've seen new plugs listed from some of the aftermarket suppliers
