My cousin, who I got my WD from texted me Friday to let me know he'd found the plow for it!
To re-cap, my great-grandfather bought the WD with a 3x plow and a disk in 1952. (I had originally thought it was a '51 until I realized I mis-read the serial number list online.) My great-uncle ended up with it after great-granddaddy passed away. He was a bit of a pack rat, so I knew the plow was somewhere on his place.... Anyhow, I brought it home yesterday. For sitting out in the woods for several years, it looks to be in good shape. At some point he had the local welder build up the shares. The master plan is to have it ready for some plow days this spring. ![]() |

.
You must have had less clay and more sand? WD did well with 2 bottom plows and WD45 with the 3 bottom. Or did you have an updated WD? . |

Michael, do you need a pin-hitch plow or would a snap-coupler work? I have several, one really nice one.

IBWD...I'm looking for pin hitch equipment,, jus so I can sorta stay 'period correct'
Thing is,, any late '40's, early 50's A-C equipment is difficult to find reasonably close to here...it's taken a looong time to find and aquire the pieces that I do have....tractors fairly easy, it's the equipment that hard to find |
