    Posted: 31 May 2025 at 12:14am
I was looking at my 7000 today and remembered my brother complaining about the three point, so I tried to use it, and it doesn't want to raise. (the tractor is mostly hooked to a baler, so I haven't used the three point). Searched the forum and found another thread with the same issue, and DrAllis explained clearly that it needed the console adjusted to bring the levers into alignment when all are in the hold position, caused by bad cab mounts. I started looking for cab mounts and found another thread saying they are no longer available. Long story, short question - does anyone know of a suitable cab mount for the front, 70261544? The local Agco dealer shows the rear mount still available. Thanks in advance.

Try this number:   70266515. It will fit if it is still available. I know there is a cab isolator out there somewhere that will fit. I just don't know what brand or model. These are a pretty common design and have been used since the early 1970's when quiet cabs were introduced.

Thank you very much. You and others on this forum have provided a wealth of knowledge that isn't really available anywhere else. The nearest Allis dealer was over an hour away in the 70s and 80s, so there aren't many around this area so nobody I can go bother when I can't figure something out. We have an Agco dealer now, but they were MF/Hesston so nobody there speaks Allis.

What was the difference between the 7000 and 7010+ mounts, if the 7010 up mounts will fit on the 7000?

I'm going from memory here, so bear with me. I thought the front cab isolators were always the same p/n (as the 7010's and bigger) in the early years of the 7000. It took 2 or 3 years and they figured out that two mounts on a 7000 didn't hold up well, as compared to three mounts on the larger tractors. They changed the p/n on the 7000 to a harder rubber to hold up better for service life. If I'm right in my memory, the physical size is the same, just different rubber material. The 7000 only had two mounts about 10 inches apart bolted directly to the top of the torque tube. I believe there's more heat that way than the way they did the 7010 and up spaced 24 or more inches apart. That's my story and I'm stickin to it.
